Artist's Description
August 30, 2011 a day to remember. I was flying back from San Diego that day and when we got close to Maui I could see the offshore spray coming off the lines at Ma'alaea. I went down to shoot at Makena and the waves were washing rocks and coral on the road in 3 or 4 places. The sun popped out from behind the clouds for little while and I took this shot.
